The earliest reference I can find to Aviva companies in the Bexley area is from 1867 when Norwich Union Fire appointed Relph and Sons of Bexley Heath as agent. The following year W Relph and Son of Bexley Heath appeared on the list of agents representing Norwich Union Life Society.
In 1883 Norwich Union Fire appointed J Field agent for Bexley and the last Bexley reference I have been able to find in the archive concerns the agency appointment of W C Horner in 1907.
