Despite our connection with Northern Ireland going back nearly 200 years I have struggled to find references to Portrush in the Aviva archive.
I did, however, manage to find this policy taken out with West of England by James O'Boyle, a Catholic Priest of nearby Ballymoney, in 1891.
The earliest, and only, archive reference I have to Portrush itself dates from 1935 when J A G Shields of 2 Duncairn Avenue was acting as agent for Norwich Union.
I would love to hear if you can add anything to the very little I know of our history here.
